No problem in any other circuit, but in this particular one I got too much bleed-through with some chips. Out of frusteration, I designed my own fill-in replacement for the ANP. Problem is that such adjustment instructions are not used or applicable here, but much worse, not even Test Point voltages are shown.
What I really want is a replacement for the high end CA I’ll stick to my own circuit, due to the costant discontinuation of fixed ICs. If you want, the MCP has a well drawn internal circuit.

And I’m sure the CA hasn’t been their top seller. I don’t buy datwsheet obsolete components from there. I want to use this one because they have a Pspice model so I can model it all in software, and TI still is selling this currently. The market size for the CA part just will not return a profit for the cost.
I’ll be happy to consult on cw3094 a project. They claim their original and later on the LMN were “selected” for those roles. Knowing full-well that anything less thanwould not interest them, I didn’t pursue my case.

I almost went to using the CA, but had problems with its manufacturer, Harris, who was a “competitor” in the broadcast industry at the time. I have had a problem with this chip for almost 11 years. None of the other chips comes close in these dxtasheet, so if you can only support one OTA chip, that’s the one.

Eventually, I figured out how to make a cancelation circuit, and my VCA is now in the testing stages. Small and compact means unreliable and unserviceable. Then, they discontinued the ANP.
CA’ s for sale in batches of 50 on ebay, from Hong Kong just snatched up a bunch myself http: I also heard such stories about “specially selected” golden chips from respected manufacturers and after that I found out that the chip is noting more than plain NE But NJR obviously has a fab line capable of this “archaic” linear process. The bad news is that you have to use individual transistors – you could make a plug in module, but getting an exact module is almost impossible.
